Safety Information: Read Before Using
  1. Do not add essential oils or similar substances to the water tank while using the demineralization cartridge.
  2. Do not eat the outer shell of the product or the materials inside it.
  3. Change the tank water at least once every 5 days while using the demineralization cartridge.
  4. The demineralization cartridge contains water, so it is normal for water to appear on the packaging.
How to use the demineralization cartridge?
  1. Remove the cartridge from its packaging. After each addition of water to the tank, shake the cartridge a few times in the water.
  2. Place the cartridge inside the humidifier tank.
  3. A single cartridge is only recommended for humidifier tanks under 2 gallons.
  4. The cartridge should be replaced every 15–30 refills, about 30 days.
How many cartridges should I use?
One cartridge is suitable for humidifier tanks under 2 gallons.
What do I do if a yellow substance appears in the water tank?
Reason:
A yellow substance simply means the cartridge is leaking. It has no impact on human health or the humidifier's performance.
Solution:
Once the tank is empty, clean the yellow substance from the tank. Then refill the tank, replace the cartridge, and continue humidifying.
What do I do if a green substance or unpleasant smell is in the tank?
Reason:
A green substance or unpleasant smell may happen because the tank water has not been replaced for a long time, resulting in mold growth. This would have an impact on the human health and should be immediately cleaned.
Solution:
Empty the tank and thoroughly clean away the mold. Once cleaned, refill with the tank, replace the cartridge, and continue humidifying.
How long does the demineralization cartridge last?
The cartridge should be replaced every 15–30 refills, about 30 days.
The lifespan of the cartridge may also be affected by water hardness, the size of the humidifier tank, and the frequency of refills.
  • The harder the water (over 200 ppm), the shorter the lifespan of the cartridge.
  • The larger the humidifier tank (tanks over 2 gal), the shorter the lifespan of the cartridge.
  • The more frequently the tank water is refilled (more than once a day), the shorter the lifespan of the cartridge.
How can I extend the remaining life of the cartridge?
If your humidifier has not been used for a long time and there is no water in tank (usually for more than 1 day), you can manually extend the remaining life of the cartridge.
On the cartridge information page, click Extend Remaining Cartridge Life, enter the number of days you'd like to add, and click Ok to confirm.
